MORE PASSWORD NIGHTMARES

I recently attempted to log in to an oft used website and was told to change my password. The password must contain no fewer than 8 characters, nor more than 14. At least one upper case, one lower case, one numeral, and no successive characters allowed. Before I could print or copy the directions my web time expired and I lost the site. Please, Michael Hill, hurry and do something to make this PASSWORD thing more sensible before we all go nuts and the CLOUD is filled with password files.
